What a night, and what an incredible amount raised. This year’s 8:56 Foundation Ball brought together an amazing community of supporters for an unforgettable evening, raising a fantastic £8,156.68 to help us continue making a difference.
We are incredibly grateful to every guest, sponsor, donor, volunteer and supporter whose generosity made the evening such a success.
With £35 funding a counselling session for a man who needs support, that incredible total is enough to fund 233 counselling sessions. That means 233 opportunities for a potentially life-changing conversation when someone needs it most.
The evening was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when people come together for a common cause, with guests enjoying a fantastic night of entertainment, fundraising and celebration.
We are especially grateful to everyone who generously donated auction and raffle prizes. The quality and variety of prizes made a huge contribution to the evening, creating plenty of excitement while helping us raise even more for the Foundation.
Our sincere thanks also go to our event sponsors, whose generosity and commitment helped make the Ball possible. Their continued belief in the 8:56 Foundation and its mission plays an important part in enabling us to reach and support more people.
Celebrating extraordinary supporters
A particularly special moment during the evening was the presentation of the first-ever 8:56 Foundation Gold Pins, created to recognise individuals who have raised more than £4,000 in support of the Foundation.
The inaugural Gold Pins were presented to Karen and Tony Stevens, Chris Mann, and Ian and Karen Trundley, recognising their outstanding fundraising achievements and unwavering commitment to our cause.
Their dedication embodies the spirit of the 8:56 Foundation, and we are incredibly proud to recognise the difference they have helped make.
To everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored, bid in the auction, bought raffle tickets or supported the evening in any way - thank you.
Every pound raised helps us continue providing support, creating conversations and ensuring that men struggling with their mental health know they do not have to face it alone.
Together, we are making a difference.
